From 7 to 10 May 2020 numerous competitors from all over the world will descend on 1.8 km long trails and vistas of the island of vitality, competing in the world's extreme downhill bike race the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup Lošinj 2020.

From 21-22 April 2018, around 300 competitors from all over the world will descend the 1.8 km of paths and lookouts of the island of vitality, taking part in an extreme bike race in the World Cup – Downhill Lošinj.

Location: harbour, at 9:30 pm.

Extreme cycling competition starting from the top of Sv. Ivan hill at 256 m and finishing on the waterfront of Veli Lošinj. Total length of the race is 1,7 km.

An event dating from the 1920s. During the day many events are organised in the port of Veli Lošinj such as: slippery pole, tug of war, sinking canoes, and a very interesting and unique « Veloselska alka«.

Location: Mount St. Anna, at 10 pm.

During the day, there are numerous sports events in the harbor of Veli Lošinj, we particularly point out the slippery pole, rope pulling, sinking beach canoes, and an extremely attractive and unique “Veloselska alka”. The beginning is at 6 p.m.
